🧭 STEP-BY-STEP ACCOUNT CREATION

🔹 Step 1: Go to AWS Free Tier

  1. Open browser
  2. Search: AWS Free Tier
  3. Click Create a Free Account

🔹 Step 2: Account Details

  • Email: your personal email
  • Account name:
    👉 rajeev-data-engineering (recommended)

📌 Use a professional-looking name (resume-safe)

🔹 Step 3: Payment Method (IMPORTANT)

  • Add Debit / Credit Card
  • ₹2–₹10 temporary verification (refunded)

⚠️ AWS will NOT charge unless you exceed Free Tier

🔹 Step 4: Choose Support Plan

👉 Select Basic Support (FREE)
❌ Do NOT choose Developer / Business

🔹 Step 5: Verify Phone & Complete

  • OTP verification
  • Account activation (2–5 minutes)

🛑 CRITICAL SAFETY STEP (DO THIS IMMEDIATELY)

🔔 Enable Billing Alerts (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

Steps:

  1. Go to Billing Dashboard
  2. Enable Billing Alerts
  3. Create alarm:
